Terms and Conditions

Welcome to AMT Transitional-Living Program. By applying to, enrolling in, or residing within our program, residents agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, structured, and supportive living environment for all participants.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By applying, signing a residency agreement, or participating in the program, residents acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms and Conditions, along with all program policies and house rules.
2. Program Eligibility
Participation in the Independent Living Program is subject to eligibility requirements, including but not limited to:
- Completion of the application process
- Background screening (if applicable)
- Agreement to follow guidelines
- Demonstrated commitment to employment, education, or personal development goals
Acceptance into the program is at the discretion of program administration.
3. Residency Agreement
Residents must sign a Residency Agreement outlining:
- Monthly program fees
- Security deposit requirements (if applicable)
- Length of stay expectations
- Termination procedures
- Financial responsibilities
Residency does not establish a traditional landlord-tenant relationship unless otherwise stated by law.
4. Program Fees and Payments
Residents agree to:
- Pay all required program fees on time
- Maintain good financial standing
- Cover costs for damages beyond normal wear and tear
- Pay any applicable late fees as outlined in the Residency Agreement
Failure to meet financial obligations may result in corrective action or termination.
5. Rules and Community Standards
Residents must comply with all house rules, including but not limited to:
- Curfew and visitation policies
- Cleanliness and shared space responsibilities
- Respectful conduct toward staff and peers
- Prohibition of illegal substances and unlawful behavior
- Participation in required meetings, classes, or check-ins
Violation of rules may result in warnings, probation, or dismissal from the program.
6. Maintenance and Property Care
Routine maintenance is provided by the program. Residents must:
- Submit maintenance requests promptly
- Maintain their assigned living space
- Avoid unauthorized alterations
- Accept responsibility for damage caused by negligence
7. Safety and Liability
The program maintains safety standards; however:
- Residents are responsible for their personal belongings
- The program is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
- Residents agree to follow emergency procedures when necessary
8. Confidentiality
Personal information collected during the application and residency process will be handled in accordance with privacy laws and program policies. Information will not be disclosed without proper authorization except as required by law.
9. Termination of Residency
Residency may be terminated due to:
- Repeated rule violations
- Non-payment of fees
- Illegal activity
- Behavior that threatens the safety or well-being of others
- Failure to comply with program requirements
The program reserves the right to remove a resident in cases involving immediate safety concerns.
10. Modifications
The program reserves the right to modify policies, procedures, and terms as necessary. Residents will be notified of material changes.
11. Agreement
By enrolling in the Independent Living Program, residents acknowledge their understanding of these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them throughout their participation.
